New updated, the CX239 introduces a refined fit system designed to provide greater foot stability, comfort, and pedaling efficiency.
 

One of the key innovations is the redesigned tongue construction, which is now integrated as a single piece with the medial side panel of the shoe. Working in harmony with the strategically positioned BOA® dials, the tongue wraps more naturally around the foot as tension is applied, creating a secure and supportive fit.
 

This design helps stabilize the foot during the pedal stroke, improves arch support, and assists in maintaining optimal foot alignment, reducing the tendency for the foot to collapse inward under load.

The result is a more efficient connection between rider and bike, reflecting LAKE’s ongoing commitment to improving both comfort and performance.
